"wefoundsareniti" is an independent indian couture private label founded by me & my mentor. growing up as a first generation Indian-American, it's always been my dream to create the bridge of fashion between India & America. & through God's grace I'm building that bridge. in September of 2022, we traveled to Mumbai & worked with local designers to curate our first collection entitled "SARENITI — The Search For Peace"
after months of designing & curating our first collection, we launched our first showroom in Parlin, New Jersey. the entire showroom interior design was done by me & executed by my friend Eric. curated with specialized marble textured epoxy flooring, a graphite plaster floating wall, embossed diamond cut textured ceilings, and heavy black shelves attached with industrial piping with thousand dollar hand-made lehengas & dresses hanging off raw steel.
this collection was focused on showcasing the beauty of traditional Indian culture but bringing new youth to it. focused on traditional skills such as hand-done stone work, embroidery, zardozi, & sequence along with modernized pattern-cuts and designs. a true emphasis on building the bridge between traditional beauty and modern design.
